CLH: Vehicle leasing portal for automotive brokers

About the project

A multi-tenant platform serving multiple brokers from a single installation. Each broker operates under its own domain, branding and configuration, with access to customer, broker and administration panels. The system supports leasing quote preparation, discount configuration, order and credit application handling, and OTR offer availability management. Vehicle data used in the quoting process is retrieved through an active CAP HPI integration.

Our role

Modernisation and continued development of an existing production vehicle leasing platform. We gradually moved logic from legacy PHP into a structured application layer, developed the quote, discount and administration modules and order handling - integrating new functionality with the existing system without interrupting its operation.

What we built

• Quote calculation engine for Personal and Business transactions, integrated with an extensive discount and offer availability management subsystem
• Multi-level discount configuration covering manufacturers, dealers, vehicle models and selected equipment options
• Active CAP HPI integration providing vehicle data used during quote searching, configuration and calculation
• Order workflow from enquiry to delivery, including more than 10 statuses, internal comments, automated messages and change history
• Credit application handling integrated with the order submission and fulfilment process
• Multi-tenant system serving multiple brokers from a single installation, with separate domains, branding, users and configuration
• Separate customer, broker and administration panels with role-based user permissions
• Quote Centre with separate presentation of standard OTR, stock and committed stock offers
• Global and broker-level OTR restrictions controlling manufacturer and funder availability for individual brokers
• Stock offers can bypass global manufacturer restrictions while retaining restrictions assigned to the broker
• PDF quote and document generation together with Excel export of order data and reports
• Gradual modernisation - new code runs alongside the older parts of the system, without interrupting brokers' work
