Leasing quote calculator with multi-level discounts
A UK vehicle leasing broker processed Personal and Business quotes manually. Every discount at manufacturer, dealer and model level was calculated separately in spreadsheets. We built a quote engine with multi-level discounts, CAP HPI integration and an order workflow from enquiry to delivery.
Problem
UK leasing brokers handle several deal types at once: Personal, Business, Stock and OTR. Each has its own discount rules - different for manufacturers, dealers and individual models. Before the system, quoting meant manually checking discount tables and assembling results in a spreadsheet. Every manufacturer price change meant updating multiple files across several staff members.
Solution
We built a quote calculator with a discount module working at four levels: manufacturer, dealer, model and equipment options. The broker configures the rules once and the calculator applies them for every quote. Vehicle data is pulled from CAP HPI - the broker searches by registration or model and gets current values straight away. An order moves through more than 10 statuses with internal comments and a change history. Each broker operates under their own domain with separate offer availability configuration. PDF documents are generated in one click and order data exports to Excel.
Result
Brokers prepare quotes without spreadsheets - all deal types and discount levels in one place. A manufacturer price change means one system update, not several files. The order workflow from enquiry to delivery is transparent and tracked.
